Following practice, Bulldog head coach Mark Richt discussed the status of redshirt sophomore quarterback Blake Barnes, who fractured his thumb during Wednesday's scrimmage.
"It would nice for him to be in the spring game because it can always help you," Richt said. "It changes our rotation for G-Day. Joe (Tereshinski) will now spend the whole time with the first unit and Joe (Cox) and Matthew (Stafford) will do a little bit with both teams."
Richt also mentioned how he thought Tereshinski has performed this spring.
"I think he's done a great job and I would think he would roll into the fall as the No. 1 guy," Richt said.
After completing 13 practices already, the Bulldogs have one final practice on Friday before taking part in the G-Day annual scrimmage at Sanford Stadium on Saturday at noon.
