With former Georgia standouts D.J. Shockley, Leonard Pope and Max Jean-Gilles watching practice from the sideline, Georgia head coach Mark Richt was glad his team was back in action after its break.
"This was a good practice being the first one since everyone is back," Richt said. "I like how these guys get after it and I like their attitudes out there."
The Bulldogs have three more practices scheduled for this week, including one on Saturday. Following Monday's practice, Richt singled out several players for their performances.
"Des Williams and Thomas Brown did a good job picking up blitzes today and Asher Allen had a very nice interception on defense," Richt said. "I also thought Marcus Howard was coming off the end well today and Roderick Battle did some good things from his position."
The Bulldogs are scheduled for nine more spring practices before playing their annual G-Day game at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, April 8, at noon.
