Bailey has torn ACL - out for Sugar Bowl

ATHENS - University of Georgia junior wide receiver Sean Bailey of Alpharetta injured his right knee during practice Tuesday night. He was evaluated by the UGA sports medicine staff Wednesday morning and an MRI was performed which confirmed a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

will not be able to play in the upcoming Nokia Sugar Bowl game on Jan. 2 in Atlanta. Reconstructive surgery is scheduled for January according to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.
