Bailey and Moore dealing with injuries

ATHENS - Two Georgia wide recievers are dealing with injuries going into the Christmas break.

Junior wide receiver Sean Bailey, the hero of the SEC Championship Game with his two touchdown catches, is questionable for the bowl game due to a knee injury he suffered Tuesday.

Bailey’s knee swelled after he landed awkwardly following a catch in practice. He did not practice Wednesday. Team doctors think he has suffered cartilage damage but are unsure, Coach Mark Richt said.

Freshman wide receiver Michael Moore also suffered a knee injury in the bowl practices. He damaged his PCL and will miss the bowl game but be able to return for spring practice, Richt said. Moore is redshirting this season.
