Could Shockley improve NFL stock more?

ATHENS - Quarterback D.J. Shockley thinks one more solid game on national television could boost his draft stock in the NFL. The Bulldogs previous two games were shown to nationwide audiences, and the Sugar Bowl will be as well.

“I think it does have huge implications on where you go and what you do just because everybody sees it,” D.J. Shockley said. “I think it can decide whether you go up or down as far as your pro stock.”

Richt estimated his quarterback is 75 percent of the player he can be with more experience.

“I don’t think there’s any way to maximize a player unless he plays a lot,” Richt said.
