Woodbury out until SEC play

ATHENS - Georgia guard Terrance Woodbury, a freshman who started two of the first three games of his career, won’t return to the team until at least the beginning of the SEC season. Woodbury, 6-foot-6, 205 pounds, has the last five games with a sprained LCL in his left knee.

Team doctors have told Terrance Woodbury the best case scenario for his return would be “sometime in January,” he said Wednesday. He’s hoping to be back in time for the Jan. 7 conference opener against Florida, he said. Woodbury scored 14 points in the first game of his career.
