Humphrey SEC freshmen of the week again

ATHENS – Georgia’s Billy Humphrey was named the SEC freshmen of the week for the second time in three weeks Monday.

Billy Humphrey averaged 15.5 points in Bulldog wins over Georgia Tech and Georgia State. He leads Georgia in scoring (13.8), rebounding (4.9), 3-point field goal percentage (50 percent) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.86-to-1).

“He’s very, very poised,” Georgia coach Dennis Felton said. “He’s got a great feel for the game. He has incredible composure, especially when you consider he’s a freshman.”
