Jean-Gilles and Blue previously were named to the 2005 AFCA Coaches All-America Team as chosen by the American Football Coaches Association. They also were unanimous All-Southeastern Conference selections.
Max Jean-Gilles, a 6-4, 340-pound senior from Miami, Fla., anchors an offensive line that has rolled up 382 yards and 29.1 points per game this year. With Jean-Gilles leading the way, the Bulldogs have rushed for 157 yards per game and the line has allowed only 20 sacks.
Greg Blue, a 6-2, 214-pound senior from College Park, is Georgia¹s leading tackler with 88 stops, including 63 solos. He also has two interceptions and a fumble recovery this year.
The Walter Camp All-America team is selected by the head coaches and sports information directors of the 119 Division I-A football schools. Members of the 2005 Walter Camp All-America team will be honored at the organization's national awards banquet on Feb. 11, 2006 at Yale University.
