UGA Announces Bowl Ticket Allocation Plans

ATHENS - The University of Georgia Athletic Association has established the ticket allocation plan for the Nokia Sugar Bowl, which will be played Jan. 2, 2006, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

The Athletic Association received more than 27,000 ticket requests from GEEF contributors for the 15,000 tickets allotted to the University of Georgia.

The Athletic Association will allocate tickets to GEEF contributors who placed orders prior to the Nov. 18 deadline. The final cutoff score for contributors to receive tickets will be announced on Friday, Dec. 9.

Ticket allocations, based upon availability, will be filled in the following manner:

Patrons with a cumulative score of 100,000 and greater will be eligible to receive up to eight (8) tickets;

Patrons with a cumulative score of 30,000-99,999 will be eligible to receive up to four (4) tickets;

Patrons with a cumulative score of 29,999 and below will be eligible to receive up to two (2) tickets.

No late orders or additions will be accepted.

The final cutoff score for contributors to receive tickets will be announced on Friday, Dec. 9. All faculty/staff with a qualifying priority who requested tickets by the Nov. 18 deadline will receive a maximum of two tickets. Faculty/staff cutoff will also be established by Dec. 9. Again, No late orders or additions will be accepted.

The Athletic Association will ship all ticket orders to patrons on or before Dec. 15 via a signature-required delivery service. Any tickets that are returned to the Athletic Association will be available at the Georgia Dome for will call.
