Josh Kendall looks ahead to this weekend's SEC Championship Game by taking a look at both team's weapons on punt return.

Thomas Flowers

Skyler Green
Flowers
A redshirt sophomore from Pebblebrook High School, Flowers is second in the SEC in punt returns, averaging 14 yards on 29 returns. After a costly fumble against
Auburn
, he bounced back to key Georgia’s late victory over
Georgia Tech
with a pair of big second-half returns. He also returned a kick 54 yards for a touchdowns against
Tennessee
earlier this season. “I wouldn’t kick it to me,” Flowers said.
Green
A senior from Westwego, La., Green will always hold a bitter place in the heart of Georgia fans. He caught the winning touchdown pass for the Tigers when they beat Georgia Baton Rouge in 2003. This season, he is doing most of his damage returning kicks. He is third in the conference, averaging 13.6 yards on 23 returns. Don’t expect Georgia to kick away from him either. “Directional punting is not really cheating, but it’s kind of like cheating,” Bulldog punter
Gordon Ely-Kelso
said. “You have to give the guy a chance. I’d rather see how high and how far I can kick it.”
