Dawgs over Tech: Notable and Quotable

One last look from Josh Kendall on Georgia's win over Georgia Tech.

Notable: The Bulldogs have not made any decisions on their running back rotation for this week, Coach Mark Richt said Sunday. Former third-teamer Kregg Lumpkin ran for a team-high 74 yards and was the most impressive of the backs against the Yellow Jackets.

Although there were four replay reviews in the game, Richt would have liked to see one more on a pass thrown to Mohamed Massaquoi over the middle that was ruled incomplete. “It would have been interesting to see,” he said. “I’m looking forward to seeing a TV replay to see if he caught that ball.”

Quotable: “I think for our seniors, not so much for me or our coaching staff, but for them to hear what they were hearing going into the year, I know that bothered them. I know that they felt, ‘Hey, what about us? We’re not bad.’” Georgia coach Mark Richt on his team being picked to finish third in the Eastern Division before the season Injuries: Offensive lineman Daniel Inman (shoulder) is questionable, and linebacker Tony Taylor (knee) is doubtful. For LSU, starting offensive guard Will Arnold (illness) is doubtful.
