1. LSU – Best in the South…

2. Auburn – Playing well – too bad they need a LSU slip-up…

3. Georgia –The Yellow Jackets – then likely LSU; not an easy end-of-the-year schedule…

4. Miami – No one saw the upset to Tech coming…

5. Virginia Tech – Tide had better get it together before Auburn game…

6. Georgia Tech – Up and down; up and down – Now hated Georgia…

7. Alabama– Too bad season ended this way – Cotton now likely…

8. Clemson – Too many missed opportunities this season (Miami, Wake Forest, Boston College and Georgia Tech games)…

9. Florida – Average program will line up against average rivals…

10. Florida State – Nowhere near the program they once had…

11. South Carolina – No comment on poor performance against Clemson – it happens every year…

12. Arkansas – Could run all day on LSU and still lose…

13. Virginia – Very difficult challenge with Hurricanes this weekend…

14 Maryland – Needs a win to finish season well…

15. Wake Forest – Season over

16. Ole Miss – Should beat State…

17. North Carolina State – Game with Maryland a virtual toss-up…

18. Vandy – Too bad Vandy is not going to a bowl, but they torture Vols…

19. North Carolina – Needs a win for a bowl…

20. Kentucky – Has a real shot to beat Tennessee this week…

21. Tennessee – How much worse could it get? Answer: Losing to Kentucky…

22. Mississippi State – Worst team in the SEC (Tennessee is not far behind)…
