Jarred Fayson was recently named the #1 wide receiver prospect in the South. He took an official visit to see the Bulldogs this weekend, and he talked about the experience of the South's Oldest Rivalry hosted in Athens.
"I'm still here for another hour or so," said
Jarred Fayson
. "I'll be getting back on the road in about an hour or so. I came up here on Saturday and we went through the Dawg Walk."
Walking through the adoring fans makes a big impression on the recruits, and this week was no different.
"Oh, man, that was crazy. I had experienced something similar at
Alabama
, but this one was just outrageous. I really enjoyed it."
Georgia
and
Auburn
played in a thriller Saturday night in a game that made a big impression on all in attendance.
"It was crazy to me. I'd never been to Athens before, and it's a real beautiful town. The stadium was great, and when they it's 'Between the Hedges', they mean it's between the hedges," Fayson added with a laugh."
"Michael Moore was my host up here. We hung out with
Bryan Evans
a lot too."
Fayson was asked to rate his visit from 1-10.
"I would definitely give it a nine. I liked hanging out with the players and seeing how they lived," answered Fayson when asked what was his favorite part of the trip.
Fayson has been on one other official visit when he visited Alabama (10-28). Asked to compare the two visits, Fayson was complimentary of the two SEC Powers.
"I liked the visit to Alabama too. Both schools had certain things that I liked one better than the other. They're both big time programs, so they aren't going to be that different."
Where is Fayson headed next?
"I don't have any other visits set up yet, but I'll probably go to the
Florida
/
Florida State
game. I'll probably visit West Virginia during Bowl week or something. Everyone is still pretty even right now."
Jarred Fayson is ranked the
#1 Wide Receiver Prospect in the South.
