The Bulldogs, who head coach Mark Richt described as being in "good spirits," practiced in shorts, although most had an extra layer of clothing on in the 40-degree weather. Following the team's practice, Richt was pleased the Bulldogs were able to run through plays at Sanford Stadium during the same time of night that Auburn's game will be played.
"I think it was good for us to be in the stadium and under the nights tonight," said Richt. "Being in the same circumstances, the same weather as we will be in 48 hours should help our guys out for Saturday's game."
Georgia will welcome back quarterback D.J. Shockley, defensive tackle Kedric Golston and linebacker Brandon Miller, who are all returning from injuries, to the lineup.
Kick-off for Saturday's Georgia-Auburn game is slated for 7:45 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
