Arkansas Week: What he said

ATHENS – Read what the Bulldogs said at their weekly press conference.

"It's a great feeling to be ranked this high. We expected that at this point in the season we would be 6-0, but we didn't think we'd be ranked this high." – Quarterback D.J. Shockley about the team's fortunes this season.

"It's good to be back in front of our own fans." – Tight end Martrez Milner about playing at home of the first time since September 17.

"I like college football the way it is." – Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt on the current state of the BCS.

"I hope we play good enough to be mad (at the end of the season)" – Richt again, this time talking about a doomsday scenario which would leave the Bulldogs undefeated and out of the Rose Bowl.

"I've got to step it up a little up – he's got a big lead on me. I'm not going to let him get too far away." – Defensive end Charles Johnson talking about his competition with Quentin Moses for the most sacks during the 2005 season.

"We don't expect to play Kade or Battle. We'll do just about anything to not play any freshman that has not already played at this point." – Richt once more, this time talking about depth on the defensive line and redshirting.
