NASHVILLE – What the Bulldogs said at after this win over Vandy.

"I didn't know anything about it until halftime – but no, I didn't say anything to our team about it." – Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt when asked if he told him team about Florida losing to LSU Saturday. The Gators' loss and Georgia's win means the Dawgs are up two games in the SEC East.

"It gives you a lot of confidence" – Wide receiver Sean Bailey talking about quarterback D.J. Shockley's passing.

"Him not playing would have taken about 12 points away from us tonight." – Richt again, this time talking about Shockley's performance.

"We're in the driver's seat, and hopefully we can stay in the driver's seat." – Cornerback Demario Minter about Georgia's situation in the SEC East. Minter narrowly missed grabbing his second career interception Saturday night.

"They are pretty good… I've seen Vanderbilt play a lot this season and they are pretty good. This is the best Vandy has played all season and Georgia had no problem. You look at their schedule and nothing really jumps out at you." – A Tennessee-based newspaper columnist talking about the Dawgs and their chances at winning the SEC and beyond.

"It really hurts because I've been with those two guys for five years – I'm hurting for them." – Defensive tackle Darrious Swain about the injures of Kedric Golston and Gerald Anderson.
