ScoutTV: Senior Video of Georgia Commit

Chris Davis

Jefferson, Georgia's Chris Davis was the 7th prospect to verbally commit to Mark Richt's Georgia Bulldogs way back in the month of June. Since that time, the big guy has been mauling his opponents from his tight end position and on Friday night Scout.com tripped to Jefferson to watch Chris and his Dragons battle Towns County in the rain.

Being a tight end and a relatively "light" OL at this stage in his development, Chris shows excellent feet and mobility. Jefferson really ran rough shod over Towns County and it was apparent they had no match for Davis as he opened big rushing lanes down after down.

One bonus for the Bulldogs may be that Davis is the best deep snapper I have seen all season in the state of Georgia. We all knew that he could sling it over-handed from his prowess on a baseball mound, but I found out on Friday that he's as equally impressive shooting it under-handed to his punter or holder. If things never pan out for Chris up front on the offensive line, he could always be a very valuable member of the Bulldogs special teams.

See why the UGA coaches are so high on this future offensive lineman in this presentation from ScoutTV.
