ATHENS – What the Bulldogs said at Georgia’s weekly press conference.

“I got a letter from my Dad.” – Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt talking about a note her received from his father about his attitude following Georgia’s win over ULM. Richt was particularly upset after the game with the Bulldogs’ performance last Saturday.

“He gave me a call this week and I called him back. He’s doing well. He told me that he’s got nothing but As and Bs in school.” – Richt again, this time talking about former Georgia signee and current Mississippi State Bulldog Jamar Chaney, who was denied admission into Georgia.

“Concentration.” – Sophomore place kicker Brandon Coutu’s answer when asked how he could make a 58-yard attempt, but miss a 31-yarder.

“I watched that game and was jealous.” – Richt once more, this time talking about Southern Cal’s offensive performance against fellow SEC school Arkansas. USC won the game 70-17.

“I’m an offensive lineman – I like to eat.” – Georgia junior offensive lineman Nick Jones after rattling off his favorite meals to a reporter.

“Big Max.” – Jones again, this time responding to a reporters question about who he feels most sorry for when the team has to fly on a plane.
