Practice Notes: Boise State Thursday

Posted Sep 1, 2005

ATHENS - The 13th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs concluded their preseason practice on Thursday and began the final preparations for Saturday┬╣s game versus Boise State. The Bulldogs worked out in jerseys, shorts and helmets for approximately two hours and head coach Mark Richt said Thursday's practice was "a little bit better dress rehearsal" than yesterday's practice.

"There were a lot less mistakes today and everyone threw and caught the ball well," Richt said, adding that he only saw one or two balls dropped all practice. "Right at this moment, I feel like we've done the best we can do from spring practice on."

Richt added that he expects almost everyone who is not out for the season with an injury to be ready to play on Saturday.

Kick-off for Saturday┬╣s game is slated for 5:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
