Practice Notes: Boise State Wednesday

Posted Aug 31, 2005

ATHENS - The season opener for the 13th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs is only a few days away and Wednesday's practice session was a "dress rehearsal," according to Bulldog head coach Mark Richt.

Georgia worked out in jerseys, shorts and helmets for approximately 90 minutes and Richt said a couple more days of preparation will benefit the squad.

"Today was a dress rehearsal for the dress rehearsal Thursday," said Richt. "This was the first of two practices like this, and we did it because we're a little ahead of schedule like we normally are in the preseason. We made mistakes today, and tomorrow we need to cut down on them and be better prepared."

Kick-off for Saturday's game is slated for 5:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
