Evans back at cornerback

ATHENS – Bryan Evans spoke with Dean Legge for a short time after one of Georgia's fall practices. | ||||

Dean Legge: Can you talk a little about this fall and how it’s been going for you? Bryan Evans: The fall has been good. I made the transition to safety, and it was kind of tough going into the first game knowing that you have to switch different concepts and steps. At first I was shaky, but I feel more comfortable now (back at corner). How has it been being away from home? It’s not been really tough – I have family in Atlanta. Other than that, the temperature is pretty much the same. I really like it here. Have things slowed down for you at all, or has it been a consistent blur? It has slowed down since we have gotten closer to the start of the season. It’s harder for the coach to teach me one-on-one because he has to teach the team as a whole. It’s kind of like you have to learn yourself, or you will fall behind. I am trying to stay on top of my game. Was there any reason specifically they moved you to safety? I think it was injures. Coach Martinez said I was doing well at cornerback, but that was something to help the team out, and I was all for it. |
