Day 16 practice report

Posted Aug 24, 2005

ATHENS - The 13th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs continued preparations for their 2005 season opener, working out for an hour in jerseys, shorts and helmets Wednesday.

Georgia coach Mark Richt said the emphasis of Wednesday's workout was "assignment football." The Bulldogs went through the mental process, what they will see and experience in Thursday's closed session which will feature a practice game.

The Bulldogs will head to Sanford Stadium and go through their normal pre-game routine, play a couple of quarters, head to the locker room for a half-time and then finish up with some drills.
