ATHENS – Ryan Schnetzer spoke with Dean Legge for a short time after one of Georgia's fall practices.

Dean Legge: Can you talk a little about how fall camp has been going for you?

Ryan Schnetzer: I think I am doing well. I have been here for five years, Russ and I both, and I have been working hard the last couple of years, and it’s starting to pay off. We know what to do, and it’s a lot easier to do something when you know what you are doing, instead of going out there and guessing what you are doing.

How has fall camp changed in the last five years?

It’s a lot different. My first camp, we were doing two-a-days every day, but now we have this new 2-1-2 system. Then, it seemed like so much more was being thrown at you at one time. Coming in here now, I know what to expect and I know what to do. Then, I didn’t know anything; just coming in fresh is hard.

I guess there is only one true freshman – Ian Smith – how is he doing?

He’s doing well. I think he was hurt earlier, but I think he is coming along really well. He’s going to be a real productive player for us.

What kind of individual goals do you have for the season?

My individual goal is for the team to do well. I want us to win.

How close is the offensive line – are y’all almost like brothers in a fraternity?

I’d say we are a lot like brothers – we hang out together; we eat together; we can talk about anything together. They are just like brothers to me.
