ATHENS - News and notes from Georgia's ninth day of fall camp.

The Bulldogs clearly are a tired team at this point in fall camp. Three consecutive full contact practices and sweltering weather left several players on the sideline at some point Monday.

Wide receivers Sean Bailey and Mario Raley, offensive lineman Zeb McKinzey, running back Tyson Browning and safety Greg Blue all sat out with injuries believed to be no more serious than fatigue and muscle tightness. Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and safety Drew Williams practiced in green, no-contact jerseys.

The Bulldogs even cut 40 minutes out of their morning workout.

“It was very, very tough on the guys,” Richt said. “We actually considered not going this afternoon.”

POSITION MOVE: Tony Milton has been moved to fullback and has played well there, Richt said. He will share time with Brannan Southerland and could start, Richt said.
