2005 Fall Camp: Day 8 - What he said

ATHENS – What the Bulldogs said after their eighth day of practice.

"This is the best part of the day." – A comment made by one of the reporters covering the Bulldogs while stepping back into the air conditioning of Butts-Mehre.

"I don't think I could imagine that." – Senior deep snapper Brian Jordan when asked if he could imagine other SEC quarterbacks snapping like back-up quarterback Joe Tereshinski.

"It's kind of like a boxing match." – Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt describing the Bulldogs' goal line drill.

"The stadium always brings a little more because you're in the surroundings of the stadium and in actual game situations. The whole atmosphere of Sanford Stadium adds to it, even when there's nobody in it. It's gonna add a little emotion to it."

Quarterback D.J. Shockley before Saturday afternoon's scrimmage in Sanford Stadium, the first time he's walked between the hedges as the Bulldogs' No. 1 QB.
