Georgia Commitment Discusses Camp/Future

Kevin Perez

Kevin Perez, the "Big man" from Miami Killian High School, recently returned from Georgia's mini-camp where his commitment to become one of the many stellar players for the Bulldogs was reassured. Perez was impressed with another lineman committed to Georgia.

"They had a lot of great players there," said Kevin Perez. "As far as Lineman go, it was a deep camp. There was great competition. I think there were five more committments at the camp. Ricardo Crawford showed me a lot. He has some really good moves and he's a really big guy."

Perez can't wait to arrive in Athens.

"I feel comfortable with the coaches. They're good Christian people and they keep their word. The football team is great. The opportunity for me playing early looks good. I love it there. I wish I could leave for school tomorrow."

Kevin Perez is done with camps for the summer. This past fall he helped lead Miami Killian to a state title. His team lost over 30 players, but he feels good about their chances this coming season.

Perez is attending summer school and night school in order to graduate early and be ready for Spring Practice in Athens.
