Demarcus Dobbs is a big athlete from Calvary Baptist Day in Savannah, Ga. that is going to draw a lot of interest from colleges this year. Demarcus Dobbs is a big athlete from Calvary Baptist Day in Savannah, Ga. that is going to draw a lot of interest from colleges this year. At close to 6-4 and 250 pounds, Dobbs moves well enough that he played outside linebacker for his Cavalier team, and he racked up 46 tackles, two sacks, and he returned on interception for a touchdown. He also had 20 catches from his tight end position, and he holds the school record for career touchdown receptions with 14 going into his senior season.

Dobbs is a strong character kid that projects as a full qualifier. He also plays basketball, and he helped lead his team to the Elite 8 of the state playoffs. He weighed in last week at 247 pounds, but he moves like a player that is in the 215 range. He has the mobility to play linebacker on the college level, but he projects as a defensive end because of his size.

With his combination of work ethic, academics, and athleticism, Dobbs could turn out to be one of the most heavily recruited players to come out of the Savannah area in several years.
