Thompson and Hollis get 6th year from NCAA

ATHENS - University of Georgia defensive end Will Thompson of Warner Robins and defensive back Albert Hollis of Sacramento, Calif., have both been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA as a result of injuries suffered during their careers.

Albert Hollis came to Georgia in 2000 as a Parade Magazine running back but injuries have prevented him from playing in a game.

Will Thompson has started 24 games for the Bulldogs in his career—12 in each of the past two seasons. He has 81 career tackles, 9.5 sacks, and 14.5 tackles-for-loss. Recommended Stories
