Bulldog Baseball moves to #6 in country

ATHENS - Following a 3-0 start, the Georgia baseball team moved up three spots to number six in Baseball America's weekly top 25 rankings. The Bulldogs remained eighth in The Sports Weekly/ESPN Top 25 College Coaches poll and ninth in Collegiate Baseball's Top 30.

Up next, Georgia faces Mercer (9-1) Tuesday at Foley Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. The Bulldogs conclude a six-game home stand with a weekend series against Georgia Southern (2-4). The Bulldogs and Eagles will play Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

The top 10 in this week's Baseball America's poll consists of Tulane (7-0), LSU (7-0), Texas (11-0), Cal State Fullerton (5-1), South Carolina (6-0), Georgia (3-0), Miami, Fla. (8-2), Baylor (5-2), Arizona (9-1) and North Carolina (4-0).
