Lionel Mapp 6-5/370
Does he go hard on every down? How hard does he work when the play is away from him? Does he have the conditioning? Lionel Mapp passes that test with flying colors. He is matched up with a quick defensive end from Decatur that is literally half his size, and he is able to keep him at bay with solid footwork. Georgia has the early advantage for Mapp, but he will have the opportunity to play wherever he wants. This ScoutTV presentation is shown from Greene County's big win over Decatur in the playoffs, and it is shown in chronological order as it happened in the game. You'll see Mapp making some of his best blocks of the day in the 4th quarter of a 21-21 game (last three clips). Included on his reel is a block where he occupies one man, then extends his arms to chip another, fueling the joke that big Lionel Mapp may actually be able to play guard and tackle. Mapp is big time, and here is a ScoutTV presentation of his work against Decatur in last year's Georgia High School playoffs. Watch Video**
