“I’d say we’re probably a little less settled right this minute than we have been maybe in years past,” Richt said. “There’s still some guys that might be able to change a coach’s mind.”

Georgia is asking fans on its website and on social media to “Spread the Red!” by wearing red for the season opener against Clemson on Aug. 30. “We’re asking everyone to wear red this game and make it one of those memorable moments, memorable games, memorable atmospheres,” Richt said. And, if you are wondering, “No black jerseys,” Richt said when asked about it.
Wide receiver Chris Conley said the injury he was battling this preseason was a shoulder subluxation. “I’m doing well now,” said Conley who caught a touchdown pass in Saturday’s scrimmage.
Georgia will hold a rehearsal scrimmage at the stadium Wednesday with the frontline players playing against a “Clemson” team.
