Fox Gets Commit from Forte

Mark Fox added a fourth player to his signing class with the addition of a JUCO player.

Cameron Forte, who recently played at Texas Tech before transferring to Howard Junior College, picked the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.

"Just committed to the University of Georgia on a full ride scholarship to play basketball," Forte said on his Twitter account. "Thank you to everyone one that has supported and followed me through out this process, couldn't be more thankful and blessed."

Forte averaged 22.5 points and 7.5 rebounds a game in junior college. He was an outstanding prep scorer as his 36.2 points a game finished sixth-best in the country in 2010-11.

As far as his future at Georgia is concerned, Forte told the Athens Banner-Herald's Marc Weiszer that head coach Mark Fox told the new Bulldog that he "can't wait to get me out there for the summer." Recommended Stories
