Gators drop in polls

Florida fell to No. 8 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 6 in the Coaches’ Poll following a loss at Missouri on Tuesday. The Gators now start a tough week at Tennessee on Tuesday and then hosting Alabama on Saturday.

The Gators dropped a 63-60 game at Missouri on Tuesday, despite leading by double figures halfway through the second half. Florida was led by 14 points from Mike Rosario, while Kenny Boynton added 11. Casey Prather scored seven points and pulled down seven rebounds off the bench.

Florida got back on the right track on Saturday with a 71-54 win over Arkansas. The Gators had four players — Boynton, Murphy, Rosario and Young — in double figures against the Razorbacks. Prather continued to produce off the bench with eight points and nine rebounds.

The Gators play at Tennessee on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
