FOX Sports NEXT caught up with Abbeville quarterback Kelly Bryant from the state of South Carolina. He is a young 2015 star who is a name to now as he will be a top player in his class. He spoke with us at the Army All-American Combine in San Antonio, Texas.

With the urgency in college football recruiting, the need to get in on players early is critical. Abbeville (SC) quarterback Kelly Bryant is a class of 2015 player who is reaping the benefits of college coaches looking to get their names in the hat early.

"I picked up two in-state offers from Clemson and South Carolina. And now I am starting to hear from Georgia Tech too," Bryant said.

Recently, the 6-foot-3, 194-pound Bryant got the chance to show why he is one of the top players not only in the state of South Carolina, but in the country.

"I felt good getting to compete with everybody across the country and got the chance to show what I can do," Bryant said.

And what he can do is impress. Now, moving forward, Bryant will look to improve and have a more complete junior season after missing four contests in 2012.

As for the recruiting process, it seems early, but there is already things taking place for the young, rising star.

"I think it's going real good and I'm young having fun and enjoying it. When it comes time for that decision, I will be comfortable and ready to make it," Bryant said of his recruitment.
