For the second straight weekend, the Gators dropped in the college basketball polls. A six-point loss in Kansas City to the Kansas State Wildcats dropped Florida out of the top ten in both polls.

Florida made the trip to Arizona as the No. 5 team in the country. Now just nine days later, the Gators are No. 14 in the Associated Press poll and No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll.

Kansas State moved into the poll at No. 25 because of the win. Florida’s other loss, Arizona, moved to No. 3 in the country.

The Gators get some time off to spend Christmas with their families and will return to action against Air Force on December 29 in Sunrise, Fla.
