Chase Rosenberg visited Princeton and Penn for the second time over the weekend and he enjoyed each visit. He is out looking for the best academic and football combination.

Many think Chase Rosenberg is only focused on academics and education when evaluating colleges, but that is not the case.

He wants the best of both worlds.

"The degree and education are very important to to me, but I also want to play football," Chase Rosenberg told Scout. "I want to play quarterback for someone, so I am not only looking at the education, but the football side too."

He most recent visits were to Princeton and Penn over the weekend and both had good things to say, they present an elite education opportunity, and they have interest in the Peach State student athlete.

But who is showing the most interest right now?

"I am probably getting the best vibe from Georgetown and Johns Hopkins right now. I was up visiting those schools recently and I know they are both very interested in me.

"I watched a game at Georgetown and I think I could fit into their offense at quarterback too. I had a good time with the Georgetown and Johns Hopkins last week. They both gave me some great feedback."

Rosenberg likes the Hoyas' offense because it fits his skill-set.

"I went from running the option to the spread my senior year, so I have played in two different systems. I think that helps me and I think there is some value in that.

"Georgetown ran some option out of the shotgun and they threw it some too, so I liked that," said the 6-foot-2, 190 pound senior out of Centennial.

A number of Ivy League schools are showing interest in Rosenberg and he is also hearing from Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt as well.

He is leaning more towards the schools up north right now.

"Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt are great schools, but I really like the thought of paying up north at this time.

"The bigger schools are talking about offering me as a preferred walk-on, but they will not know if they are able to until they finish up their classes.

"I want a chance to play quarterback for someone and I think I have the best chance at the schools up north right now."

He is really hoping those schools take notice of his senior season and how he progressed as a signal caller.

"I ended up with 2,300 yards passing and 18 touchdowns and about 1,400 of those yards came in the second half. I got better as the season went on, I made better decisions, I made better reads, and I think I have gotten a lot better over the past year."
