Henry Re-Opening Recruitment

Remove Derrick Henry's name from the Georgia commitment list.

The 6-3, 241-pound running back from Yulee High (Fla.) announced he was opening up his recruitment after verbally committing to the Bulldogs in July of 2011.

"I was probably a little too quick in making my initial decision and got caught up in the moment so I apologize for that," he said in a statement.

Following his commitment, Henry continued to take visits, most notably to Tennessee and Alabama. He will now take a closer look at all schools recruiting him and doesn't have a timetable for his ultimate decision.

"When I have no doubts at all about where I'm going, I'll let everyone know," he said.
