Fox Closing in on 2011-12 Schedule

ATHENS – Mark Fox's 2011-12 schedule is coming along, and it crisscrosses the country.

The Bulldogs, fresh off their first NCAA Tournament bid since 2008 will play at Southern Cal, at Colorado and in Kansas City this year in addition to their normal slate of games in the SEC and in the South.

Georgia is already scheduled to appear on national television five times this season in games at Florida on ESPN (Jan 10th), in Kansas City against Cal on ESPN2 (Nov. 21) and the next night against either Notre Dame or Missouri on ESPN2 or ESPNU and home dates with Cincinnati on ESPNU (Dec. 2) and Kentucky on ESPN (Jan. 24th).

The Bulldogs will play their normal slate of eight SEC home games and eight on the road. Dates for road contests with Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt have not been made public yet.

Neither has Georgia's yearly contest with Georgia Tech or the return trip to Xavier, but coach Mark Fox indicated this summer that both contests would not be during SEC play.
