Sturdivant suffered the most recent ACL during Georgia scrimmage on Saturday.

Sturdivant, a projected starter for the 2011 season, suffered major knee injuries in 2008 and 2009. The injuries came in consecutive seasons, after the Wadesboro, N.C. native was named SEC All-Freshmen in 2007.

He appeared in 12 games in 2010, and recently said he was just feeling like his old self again.

"I feel like I have a great feel going into the rest of spring and going into the rest of the year," Sturdivant said a week ago.

According to Ron Courson, Sturdivant will "undergo surgery sometime this week to repair the knee ligament and is expected to conduct his rehab at UGA."

It is expected that Cordy Glenn will move from right tackle to left tackle for the remainder of spring practice and into 2011. Glenn had been working at both tackle spots this spring.

A.J. Harmon, Austin Long and Brent Benedict seem likely candidates to move into the vacated tackle spot opposite Glenn.
