Georgia signee Holden visits during G-Day

Holden said that he had a chance to talk with the Georgia staff but that the conversation centered around his personal and family life rather than football.

"It was fun, but it was raining," said Trahern Holden of Georgia's annual spring G-Day game. Holden is one of 24 Bulldog signees that inked with Georgia in 2003.

Holden said that he had a chance to talk with the Georgia staff but that the conversation centered around his personal and family life rather than football. "I talked with the coaches and they asked about me and my parents, but we did not talk about football," he said.

For the time being, Holden is focusing on matters other than football. "I am throwing discus for my high school track team," he said. Holden added that he is getting a bit of senioritis right now. "I am ready to get out of high school," he said.

When asked about G-Day's sloppiness in terms of play Holden said: "I think that we will be alright next season. I saw a lot of good players out there."

Holden said that he is ready to get to Georgia to start his college life. "I want to get to know all of the guys and start working out. I am going to go to Athens in June and start summer school."
